Cylindrical Bag Plugs, 12" with 2' Inflation Hose
Description
- Plug a pipe through a tee opening
- Sizes for 2" through 36" pipe
- Prevent flooding of pit when replacing a section of sewer line
These plugs collapse so you can insert them through a relatively small hole in the pipe wall. Once it is inside the pipe, use a blunt end rod to push it in either direction from the opening and then inflate it. These are great if you want to plug a pipe on each side of a break before removing a section of pipe. After you are through, remove the inflatable plug and seal the insertion holes with repair clamps.
The plug is made of cylindrical inflatable gum rubber with a rugged polyester waterproof casing. It can be inflated to a high internal pressure to hold pipe pressure, which is about one half of burst pressure. We strongly recommend that you use a pressure gauge in conjunction with your fill valve. Plugs hold pipe pressures up to 60% of inflation psi.
