Griffco Back Pressure Valve, 10-150 psi, 1-1/2" NPT(F)
Description
- High reliability with low cost
- Improves operation and accuracy of metering pumps
- Features NPT(F) connections
Griffco back pressure valves affordably enhance the overall performance of chemical feed systems. By applying a continuous back pressure to the chemical feed pump, and acting as an anti-siphon valve, these valves improve the operation and accuracy of metering pumps.
Valves come preset at 50 psi with adjustable maximum pressure settings. For best performance, install as close to the injection point as possible, and set the valve 15 psi greater than your system pressure. Additional sizes and materials available as special order; contact USABlueBook for more information.
Valves Suitable for Use with: Aluminum sulfate (alum), ammonium chloride, ammonium hydroxide, ammonium sulfate, calcium hypochlorite, ferric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, magnesiumhydroxide, potassium permanganate, sodium bisulfate, sodium hypochlorite, sodium phosphate and 95% sulfuric acid (call for compatibility with other chemicals). Wetted materials: PVC body, PTFE/EPDM diaphragm.
- Pipe Size: 1-1/2"
- Adjustable Pressure Setting: 10 to 150 psi
