PEX-B Blue Tubing, 3/4" x 100' Coil
Description
- Approved for water service lines and burial applications including being buried under concrete
- Flexible, durable and easy-to-install
- PEX-B offers the highest-rated chlorine resistance
Use PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing for new installations or to replace copper or lead water supply lines. PEX-B tubing is more rigid and less resilient compared to PEX-A tubing, but is more economical and easier to install. It provides faster installation compared to rigid pipe. It has flexibility to bend around corners, reducing the number of connection points needed. Available in coils up to 500 feet in length, allowing longer runs and fewer connections, reducing cost, time and potential leak points.
PEX-B offers the highest-rated chlorine resistance and six-month UV resistance. It is resistant to scale and corrosion, which increases its longevity and ability to maintain water quality. PEX can expand and contract, making it less susceptible to damage from freezing and thawing compared to rigid pipes. Blue tubing is often used to identify cold water lines.
- Length: 100 feet
- Minimum working temperature: 33°F @ 160 psi
- Maximum working temperature: 200°F @ 80 psi
- Maximum working pressure: 160 psi @ 33 to 70°F
- Approvals: NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, NSF/ANSI 14 - PEX 5306, AWWA C904
