MSA G1 iRC SCBAs provide respiratory protection in non-fire related water and wastewater environments, including chlorine, confined space and hazmat applications. The compact industrial remote cylinder connection allows easier mobility in confined spaces.

Durable and comfortable, the G1 iRC features six major components: the facepiece (medium), regulator, pressure reducer with low pressure warning device, remote pressure gauge, harness/carrier assembly and cylinder. All key components are detachable without tools.

The full facepiece features a large low-profile lens to optimize field of view, and a mechanical speech diaphragm to enhance short-range communication. The regulator easily and securely connects to the facepiece with a Push-To-Connect (PTC) connection that automatically controls the airflow to meet the user’s respiratory needs. The cross-contamination feature prevents exhaled air from entering the regulator.

The durable nylon harness and carrier assembly distribute the weight of the SCBA to the hips for comfort and stability. The ergonomically designed backplate features large handles to facilitate handling and storage.

The cylinder is easy to remove from the carrier when empty, and can be refilled. Low-pressure 2216-psi (30 minutes of air) aluminum cylinders.
