Neptune’s most powerful mixers for the most difficult mixing applications. Grease-filled gearbox eliminates oil seal and the possibility of oil contamination of process. These mixers do not have clutches to slip, wear or replace. 316 SS propellers and shafts are standard. Square pitch 1.0 ration marine propellers are used exclusively. Flow coefficients and power consumption characteristics equal those of the best hydrofoil impeller designs. A vibration-absorbing pad is standard.
Motors are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC). Motor housings are made from cast aluminum. Gears run in grease lubrication and cannot leak oil. All JG series mixer shaft bearings are permanently lubricated. Mixers are designed to be hardwired and do not include a power cord.
Two mounting configurations are available; a clamp mount or a cup plate mount. Dual propeller units are usually specified when the liquid depth is 1.5 times the diameter of the tank or more.
