Use Pro Softener Mate regularly with any standard water softener salt to help it perform at maximum capacity and extend it’s life. Pro Softener Mate is a total softener treatment containing environmentally friendly chemicals formulated to remove limited iron, manganese, metal particles and organic compounds that cause water softeners to lose efficiency.
Use Pro Softener Mate as part of your routine maintenance program—regular use promotes efficient performance. A water softener operating at peak efficiency improves water quality, helps eliminate hard water buildup and solves laundry problems.
First Application: Dissolve 1 cup (two pouches) of Pro Softener Mate in 1 qt of warm water. Pour directly into brine well. (Softeners with no brine well, pour directly into salt storage tank when salt level is low) Manually regenerate softener. Repeat for heavily fouled unit.
Preventative Maintenance: Add 1/4 cup (1/2 pouch) for every 40 lbs of salt added to the salt storage tank. Layer to ensure a continuous dose of Pro Softener Mate with each regeneration.
