The DR4300 chart recorder provides basic, reliable pen-drawn analog traces on preprinted 10" charts. The basic version (no display) configuration is easily set up via dip switches by selecting the pre-configured range, actuation, and chart speed. The input for each pen can be one of any standard electrical signal: milliamp, millivolt, voltage, RTD or thermocouple. All DR4300 recorders are housed in a rugged molded case, which along with a NEMA 3 door are designed to protect the internal electrical components from harsh environments. All DR4300 recorders run self-diagnostics at power-up and in the background during normal operation. On units not equipped with a display, an LED will light if the unit fails a self-diagnostic test.
Enhanced version recorders (with display and keypad) are configured by assigning application specific values and parameters by entering data using the keypad. This option lets you display the real time value of the process variable for each pen channel, as well as other values. The display and keypad allow you to expand or compress the input range to meet your specific measurement requirements. In addition, status and error messages flash on the display when necessary. The display and keypad are behind the door, protecting them from dirt and debris.
The DR4300 is available in several stock and custom configurations. We stock the versions with commonly used options in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
