The user-configurable messages tell you in plain English the exact nature and location of the alarm call, eliminating confusion and ensuring that correct action will be taken in an emergency. You can call the Chatterbox anytime from any telephone to hear a complete report of your monitor’s alarm status, functions and diagnostics, giving you the complete picture of your Chatterbox’s operation on the job. Upon power failure, the unit triggers an internal alarm and calls the programmed phone numbers with a power failure alarm message. With built-in battery backup and non-volatile memory, program memory loss is a thing of the past, even in extended power failure.

Additional field programming capabilities include the ability to call a ninth phone number on command to test system and phone line integrity, adjustable alarm response delay, alarm reset time, delay between alarm call outs and number of message repetitions. Each input channel can be configured for "alarm on open circuit" or "alarm on closed circuit."
