Corrosion caused by condensation can create premature electrical failure. These anti-condensation heaters help prevent condensation by keeping the temperature inside of an enclosure several degrees above the external ambient temperature and the dewpoint of the environment outside.
There are no moving parts, no thermostat to set or malfunction, and no adjustments required for ambient temperature changes. Cartridge heaters have a 20-year life, and come mounted to a extruded black anodized aluminum heat sink, which mounts to the back of electrical enclosures. The heat sinks assure even distribution of heat, yet are safe to touch. Dimensions: 4"W x 3.15"H x 4.5"D. Operating temp. range: -22 to 140°F.
