The evolution battery-powered electromagnetic water meter is designed to work in both water and wastewater (primary, secondary and tertiary) applications. It delivers high accuracy through a wide range of flows, conditions and applications. Because the evoQ4 has such a wide measuring range, utilities won’t need a separate meter for turbine, compound, single-jet or magnetic meter applications—this one meter will do it all.
The evolution continuously takes samples every 0.5 seconds, so you can be confident of accurate, reliable measurements. It’s designed for 10 years of continuous operation with no battery changes necessary. The meter is stainless steel and contains no moving parts, so regular maintenance is not required. It also features anticorrosive electrodes to ensure consistent performance throughout its entire life. The register (LCD) is fully submersible to 30 feet to eliminate any concern about meter pit flooding.
The evolution’s smart metering capabilities include leakage monitoring, commercial billing and network management. Compatible with evolution AMI and other industry leading AMR systems.
