The evoQ4 battery-powered electromagnetic water meter is designed to work in both water and wastewater (primary, secondary and tertiary) applications. It delivers high accuracy through a wide range of flows, conditions and applications. Because this meter has such a wide measuring range, utilities won’t need a separate meter for turbine, compound, single-jet or magnetic meter applications—one meter does it all.
The evoQ4 meter continuously takes samples every 0.5 seconds and the totalized volume is calculated and updated on the LCD display. It’s designed for 10 years of continuous operation with no battery changes necessary. The meter is stainless steel and contains no moving parts, so regular maintenance is not required. It also features anticorrosive electrodes to ensure consistent performance throughout its entire life. The register (LCD) is fully submersible to 30 feet to eliminate any concern about meter pit flooding.
The evoQ4's smart metering capabilities include leakage monitoring, commercial billing and network management. Compatible with evolution AMR/AMI and other industry leading AMR systems. NSF 61 Annex G approved.
