Made of highly visible brightly colored plastic material that is fade- resistant for long outdoor life. Wire staffs are made of 15 gauge steel wire. The PVC staffs are 1/8" diameter. Although the PVC staffs are a little harder to push into hard ground, they are much safer around mowers and electric service, and are required in some areas.
Flags are available in small (2-1/2" x 3-1/2") or large (4" x 5") sizes. The large sizes are available either plain or preprinted with the following messages: Blue: "WATER LINE - HAND DIG"; Green: "SANITARY SEWER" and Red: "BURIED ELECTRIC CABLE"
