These valves are a viable alternative to standard brass solenoid valves in water service applications. 316 stainless steel construction allows exceptional strength at all temperatures, plus high-cycle PTFE and Viton® chemical-resistant seals for excellent chemical resistance. NEMA 4X actuator housing offers excellent protection from the elements, and the permanently lubricated gear train eliminates the need for periodic lubrication.
Valve through 2" feature Asahi Quarter Master Series 94 actuators. The 3" size comes with a Series 92 actuator, which has a 25-second cycle time and a higher torque rating. Both types feature a tee handle manual override that also serves as a position indicator. Internal stop limit switches can also be utilized to energize remote position indicator lights. 120 VAC actuator motors incorporate integral thermal overload protection with automatic reset.
Choose from valves with standard control (SPDT) or 2-wire control (SPST). SPST switches simplify replacement of solenoid valves with two coil wire leads normally connected to a SPST control switch.
Note: All motorized ball valves have lead wires that provide constant 120V power to the actuator at all times, so that the valve can complete its cycle when the position of the control switch is changed.
Options available: A wide range of AC and DC operating voltages, heaters for applications down to -40°F, 4-20 mA positioners, extra limit switches, and failsafe battery pack. Call for details.
