Frequent operation and throttling of your main hydrant valves can damage the valve or saturate the underdrain system, causing the hydrant to not drain properly. Use these gate valves with all hose connections to avoid these problems. Three models are available. All feature a 2-1/2" NST connection, brass couplings and a 200 WOG full port gate valve.
Economical Hydrant Gate Valves are ideal for main hydrant valve protection on any budget. Choose from brass or aluminum construction. Maximum pressure is 175 psi.
Note: hydrant gate valve should be left at least halfway open for the duration of use.
