DPD reagents are available in several forms (powders, tablets, and liquids) from several manufacturers. We suggest that you use the reagents that came with your colorimeter. However, if you prefer a different type or brand of reagent, most colorimeters can be easily recalibrated for use with new reagents. Simply follow the recalibration instructions in the operating manual for your colorimeter.

Eliminate the hassles of crushing tablets or wrestling with foil powder pillows! Simply invert the USABlueBook DPD dispenser over the sample tube, press the button, and watch the dispenser dose the correct amount of reagent.
Select the formulation for your colorimeter. Hach®, HF Scientific®, Hanna® and Pyxis® colorimeters use one type of formulation; USABlueBook, LaMotte®, Thermo Orion®, Palintest®, Lovibond® and Tintometer® use another type of formulation.
Select from two convenient sizes. For low-volume users, choose the 100-test size; for high-volume users, choose the 1000-test size (5 individually sealed, 200-test dispensers). Each dispenser is individually packaged in a moisture-resistant, resealable foil bag. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place.
