| Innovative SAFE-T-CLOSE STC series valve actuators automatically close cylinder valves when a chemical release is detected, protecting both equipment and people from potentially hazardous gases. Use with compressed chlorine, sulfur dioxide and ammonia gas containers. |
| Actuators mount directly to container valves and connect to a single controller that is connected to a gas detector, emergency shutoff switch or SCADA system. They offer local open and close operation and can also be activated remotely. Install additional remote shutoff buttons in areas where operators can access them without entering the gas container area. Relays in the controller can also be connected to external alarms. |
| Easy installation requires no special tools. SAFE-T-CLOSE fits on all cylinder valve orientations with or without auxiliary connections. A 24-VDC battery (included) maintains uninterrupted operation for several days in the event of a power outage. SAFE-T-CLOSE complies with the Chlorine Institute recommendations and International Fire Codes. |
