Use Syntho-Glass resin-impregnated fiberglass cloth to perform quick and easy repairs on PVC, copper, concrete, and most metals, plastics and rubbers. Simply activate the resin with water, and wrap the initially-pliable cloth around the damaged area. As the resin cures, it hardens to create a tight seal. Initial cure time is about 30 minutes, with a complete cure in 24 hours.
Syntho-Glass can be applied in hot, cold or humid conditions—you can even apply it underwater! Use up to eight layers of Syntho-Glass to effectively repair pipes with pressures up to 300 psi.
Kits are available for both pressurized or depressurized pipe. Pressurized pipe kits allow you to repair pipelines at pressures up to 60 psi without shutting down your system. Use depressurized pipe kits on lines without pressure at the time of repair. For pipes larger than 10" in diameter, contact USABlueBook.
Depressurized pipe kits include: instructions, sanding cloth, solvent cleaning wipe, protective glove, Syntho-Steel™ putty, butyl strip, Syntho-Glass cloth and compression film.
