Air-activated odor control works great in manholes

Lemon and cherry sewer sweeteners are powerful liquid deodorizers formulated to control obnoxious odors in mains and laterals, sewage plants, lagoons and other wastewater facilities.
They control odors without using harmful solvents, and will not disrupt the natural bacterial action in digesters, septic tanks and drain fields. Amount required varies with intensity of odor.
USABlueBook Formula 52 is a great multiple-action product. We sent a sample to one of our customers at a brewery to try on their toughest odor-producing system—brewery waste is one of the most offensive odors around. After one application, they noticed an immediate elimination of odors. When the waste tank was pumped out, there was also no noticeable odor. This product is used extensively in the agriculture industry to eliminate odors in pig, horse and poultry barns.
Formula 52 is safer than lime or chemicals and easy to apply—use a tank sprayer (stock # 332260) to spray directly on sludge or odorous surfaces. It can also be pumped or poured into tanks, wetwells, and sludge processes to immediately eliminate the strongest of odors.

Dosing: We recommend an initial 9:1 dilution, adjusting more or less as needed. This concentrated formula can be diluted as much as 20:1 or as little as 4:1, depending on the severity of the odors.

Odor Ban is a powerful odor-neutralizing degreaser that actually eliminates—not just masks—objectionable odors. Odor Ban quickly and effectively dissolves fats, oils and greases, which allows the liquefied grease to flush into the treatment plant for disposal.
Apply easily by pouring or dripping into sewers, lift stations, manholes and waste streams. It’s so effective that just a few parts per million quickly strips the heaviest of grease accumulations.
Choose from two Odor Ban formulas: 85% d-Limonene (orange) or 90% Dipentene (pine). These active ingredients, along with emulsifying agents, will leave behind a natural orange or pine scent.

To degrease lift stations, wet wells, sewer mains, drains and traps, use 3 gallons per 250,000 gallons of sewage. Some situations could call for as little as 1 gallon or as much as 5 gallons per 250,000 gallons. To deodorize aerators, digesters, filters, drying beds, dumps and landfills, dilute 1:50 with water and spray liberally over the odor-causing surface.
De-Sulph-A-Nator Odor Control Agent

Control the odors and corrosion that hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan gases can cause. De-Sulph-A-Nator quickly and permanently binds sulfide-bearing molecules to prevent that “rotten” odor smell. It’s safer than traditional odor control treatments and poses less risk of handling.
Just meter De-Sulph-A-Nator into a collection system a few times per week to prevent downstream odor formation, or add De-Sulph-A-Nator directly to a tank or lift station to prevent odor generation. This completely water-soluble liquid can be fed neat or diluted.

Don’t let dangerous H₂S gas build up in your lift stations and manholes. This activated carbon-based product works quickly and is easy to use. Actual customer applications in manholes have reduced the H₂S present from 200 ppm to nondetectable in just 15 minutes, quickly changing the dangerously toxic area into a safe working environment.

This odor eliminator is not an enzyme or chemical mask. It’s a non-toxic, biodegradable, water-soluble blend of essential oils and extracts that absorb and destroy odors on contact, leaving the environment fresh, clean and natural. OdorKnocker RX offers an extremely economical method for removing H₂S from manholes. Under normal conditions, one cubic foot of OdorKnocker removes about 15 lbs of H₂S, or almost 27 lbs per insert unit. Because of this high removal, we have extended an unqualified one-year guarantee on the media for H₂S removal. If it fails to perform within a one-year period after shipment, we will replace it free of charge.

Don’t be fooled by cheaper imitations. These highly-concentrated lift station degreasers will outperform competitive products, saving you time and money because you require less degreaser to do the same job. They quickly dissolve heavy grease accumulations in lift stations. Many competitive products use NPEs (nonylphenol ethoxylates), which have been shown to negatively impact the environment. This degreaser contains a slow-evaporating soybean oil derivative, allowing it to remain on the surface longer to penetrate oils, fats and grease. The non-emulsifying formula floats on the water’s surface, continually removing deposits as the water levels change.

Use them to clean and deodorize grease traps, septic systems, sewer lines, lift stations and any other problem areas in your system or around the plant. Bacterial action will not be disrupted.
These cleaners are formulated either with 50% d-Limonene (citrus orange derivative) or 40% Dipentene (pine derivative). Each is blended with grease-stripping solvents and emulsifying agents—making them excellent alternatives to hazardous acids or caustic drain cleaners. They are completely free of NPEs (nonylphenol ethoxylates), which have been shown to negatively impact the environment.
