| The Riptide ALX flow tester/diffuser makes hydrant flushing and flow testing safe and hassle-free. It ensures water is safely discharged to protect lawns and property while also keeping the operator dry. At approximately 20 pounds, the stand-alone ALX unit is constructed of lightweight anodized aluminum and features a welded handle for easy portability. |
| Simply attach the gauge and fire hose to the 2.5" NST(F) swivel connection, and water flows through the built-in pitot. The rubber feet keep the diffuser anchored in place so water is flushed away in the desired direction. The pitot is replaceable if worn or damaged (stock # 405207). |
| Note: 4" pressure gauge is required for pressure readouts and must be ordered separately. |
