John Crane 1340 packing is a cost-effective, general-service graphite packing constructed of the highest quality synthetic fibers and lubricants. It handles a wide range of fluids at moderate to high temperatures, pressures and shaft speeds. The packing is thoroughly impregnated with lubricants to fill braided voids and reduce product penetration. An external graphite coating provides lubricity and enhances heat dissipation for increased packing life.
