Lighted exit signs are required markings in hallways, stairways, and doorways for egress of building occupants. Illuminated "EXIT" with knock-out left and right directional arrows point the way out. Letter sizes are 3/4"W x 6"H. The LED's provide uniform brightness, are energy efficient, require minimal maintenance and are long-life rated at 25+ years.
Standard signs stay on all the time unless the power goes out. Emergency lights house a rechargeable battery back-up system to keep the sign lit for 1-1/2 hours in the event of a power outage. When the power comes back on, the battery system begins to recharge. Signs can be ceiling-, end- or surface-mounted with hardwire connection to a reliable electrical source. All units are 120/277 VAC.
