LuminUltra's ATP analysis system offers a fast and portable way to determine total microbial content in a sample. In just five minutes, it measures ATP (adenosine triphosphate) from living cells and determines the total concentration of microorganisms in a sample—even hard-to-culture nitrifiers. This real-time information lets you assess microbiological cleanliness, find the contamination source and take corrective action in a single shift. The ATP test is a valuable diagnostic tool, but is not a substitute for EPA-required coliform testing.
The ATP analysis system uses a luminometer, Bluetooth® Module (PBM) and application-specific test kit. The luminometer measures light intensity created by ATP during an enzymatic reaction in your sample. Light intensity correlates directly to the quantity of microorganisms in the sample for a measure of total concentration.
The PBM logs measurements and lets you transfer data wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled smart device or PC. Manage data using the included LuminUltra Cloud Connect software or free myLuminUltra web platform. The free myLuminUltra app (available for Android an iOS) makes it easy for field staff to share ATP data from their mobile device with the plant—great for situations that need immediate supervisor input or support.
Includes: luminometer with 3-ft USB cable, Bluetooth module with 6-ft USB charging cable, LuminUltra Cloud Connect software, equipment case, three fixed-volume pipettors (0.1 mL, 0.3 mL, 1 mL), test tube racks for reagent tubes and luminometer cuvettes, tote bag, and instructions. 1-year warranty.
