Description
- Unique air reservoir design improves oxygen transfer and prevents plugging
This 316 stainless steel, non-clog, coarse bubble diffuser is ideal for both mixing and aeration applications, including flow equalization tanks, grit tanks, aerated channels, package plants, activated sludge tanks, oxidation ditches, aerobic digesters and post aeration tanks.
The diffuser has a unique inverted air reservoir design with two rows of air diffusion ports and a full length slot on each side of the diffuser body. The bottom of the diffuser has a deflector which improves oxygen transfer efficiency and prevents debris and stringy material from plugging the diffuser. Cast stainless steel end cap has a 3/4" NPT(M) connection. End caps are fully welded to the diffuser body for strength and durability. Air is discharged through a combination of 3/8" and 1/2" holes.
