Sewer system operators helped design this unique tool for opening and removing manhole covers. They found a need for a single tool that would break frozen lids free and pull them off as well. Use the 12-lb sledgehammer end to break loose stuck covers.
For gripping the lid, the tapered pick-end fits 5/8" and larger drain holes and most pick slots. A serrated edge strengthens the pick-end and eliminates the possibility of the tool becoming bottlenecked in the cover. Heat-treated cast-steel head and Nupla fiberglass handle with ribbed hand grip.
