Signet 2540 Hot Tap Sensor

These sensors offer low velocity measurement plus the added strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel. Unique circuitry eliminates the need for magnets in the rotor to provide a signal. This results in less drag and eliminates magnetic attraction of small iron filings.
The adjustable 2540 sensor adapts to multiple pipe installations. Since it can be used in standard fittings with 1-1/2" NPT outlets, you save the cost of special installation fittings that most dedicated sensors require. The hot tap model inserts through a standard 1-1/2" NPT ball valve into pipe 1-1/2" to 36" in diameter when the pipe is under pressure (installation tool required; order separately).
Rated 250 psi, 180°F. Linearity ±10% full range, repeatability ±0.5% full range. 5-24 VDC flow transmitter/totalizer required; not for use with battery or self-powered meters.
