Wooden cabinets are safer and more durable than metal cabinets for storing acids. No metal is used anywhere in the interior—even the hinge assembly is wood! This means no deterioration and a longer cabinet life. Cabinets are constructed of 1" thick, high-density plywood and are finished with chemically resistant epoxy paint. They feature one fixed position shelf and a 2" deep, liquid-tight floor to contain accidental spills. Polypropylene lock assembly includes a padlock and two keys for security.
Choose from fully lined (floor, interior walls, ceiling, and tray) or partially lined (floor, shelf, and top tray) models. Both can accommodate up to (30) 2.5 L or (90) 500 mL bottles. Interior dimensions are 29"W x 28-1/2"H x 17-1/4"D. Exterior dimensions are 31"W x 36-1/2"H x 20"D.
Order the optional polypropylene isolation compartment to semi-isolate Nitric acid from all other products in the cabinet (avoid dangerous reactions, particularly between Nitric and Acetic acid). Isolation chamber fits into the top half of either cabinet.
