This test kit offers a basic test method that will give you simple, easy-to-read results without spending large amounts of money on laboratory equipment. This method is not as accurate as the normal analytical test method. However, it is not as difficult for operators to learn and it meets the basic requirements of Standard Methods.
This test is extremely important in lead/copper rule corrosion testing. Results are read via micro buret and are expressed as CaCO3.
The replacement reagent refill kit contains LaMotte's Alkalinity Indicator #1 (3870-E, 15-mL), Alkalinity Indicator #2 (3869-E, 15-mL) and Alkalinity Titration Reagent B (4493DR-H, 60-mL).
