The advanced counterstain replaces the safranin to stain the gram-negative organisms a deep red, providing sharper contrast against the deep blue of the gram-positive organisms.
Includes: one 250-mL bottle each of advanced counterstain, stabilized iodine, fast decolorizer and advanced crystal violet.
