- Fast, economical BOD analysis with reliable results
Polyseed, “the original” BOD inoculum capsules, contain a broad range of specialized bacteria blended for use as a seed population for BOD tests as conducted according to Standard Methods.
Easy to use—simply add the contents of the capsule to one-half liter of APHA standard dilution water at 20°C (68°F), then stir for at least 60 minutes. The resultant mixture provides enough seed inoculum for up to 200 BOD tests (use within 6 hours of preparation). They're ideal for applications involving degradation of industrial and municipal wastes.
