Insect-O-Cutor has been in the bug zapping business since 1938. These four energy-efficient models provide up to 40% energy savings over standard models. That can translate into as much as $50.00 savings in one year. They feature electronic-ballasted circuitry that converts line current from a normal 60 kHz to 25 kHz for increased operational efficiency, resulting in an 8 to 15% increase in black light output. 120 V/60Hz. Rigid safety guards prevent accidental contact with internal components and are positioned on the front, back and/or top of the units to promote multi-directional black light emission, resulting in greater flying insect attraction and elimination. A safety interrupt switch deactivates electricity to the units during servicing. Each model has an internal collection drawer for easy cleaning/emptying, as well as spring-loaded, fixed lamp holder sets for easy installation of replacement lamps. Internal components can withstand moisture and the heavy-duty transformer is shunt protected. Hanging models have 2 threaded holes to accommodate eyebolts that are included with each unit.

Model 2499EDGA is a two-lamp unit, ideal low ceiling heights. This model may be ceiling-hung, wall-mounted, placed on shelves, counters, worktables, and other flat surfaces or moved from area to area as portable protection. Includes: optional lift-off back plate for wall-mounting, a convenient carrying handle and non-scratch feet to protect surfaces. Model 894EDGA is equipped with three lamps for maximum efficiency. This horizontal model may be ceiling-hung, wall-mounted, placed on shelves, counters, worktables, and other flat surfaces. Model 399EDGA is a two-lamp unit primarily designed to protect single entry door areas and areas with limited access. This horizontal hanging model is ideal for low to moderate flying insect populations. The wide-area black light exposure and massive fly-killing grid achieves a high level of flying insect attraction and elimination. Requires a minimum ceiling height of 10.5 feet or more. Model 7194EDGA is equipped with three lamps for maximum efficiency. This vertical wall-mount model features a wraparound reflector panel located behind the electric grid to significantly increase black light emission for ultimate flying insect attraction. The narrow depth allows for recessed installation into walls when flush mounting is desired.

These models are intended for indoor use only. To avoid risk of fire or electric shock, do not use where they may be exposed to direct water or direct sunlight, including roofed but open porches. Never install units near explosion hazardous areas. All models include a six-foot-long 3-wire cord and plug, and must be grounded. All models have been safety tested and certified by Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL®) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA®).
