The Reed TM-1100's two-step direct tapping method eliminates the need for service saddles. Drill and tap water mains under pressures up to 90 psi, and install 3/4" or 1" corporation stops. This machine taps cast-iron, ductile-iron and C-900 PVC pipe from 4 to 48" with the use of mounting saddles and chain extensions.
The TM-1100's Flip Clamp Feed System simplifies clamping. Just flip the yoke to engage the boring bar. The machine's swing valve allows easy change-out from the drill tap to the corporation insertion tool without main shutdown. Epoxy-painted anodized aluminum frames are sturdy and lightweight for tough in-ditch applications.
The optional power drive with power drive adapter is available for fast and easy drilling. Use it to save time when making large numbers of taps.
