The EBAA Iron Megaflange lets you easily adapt plain-end pipe to an existing flange fitting, meter or valve. It consists of a restraint ring and a gasket ring. The restraint ring places wedges around the circumference of the ring to grip the pipe firmly and securely. The wedge gasket outperforms typical set-screw restraints and will not damage the pipe.
The gasket ring separates the seals dedicated to each sealing surface. This lets you cut pipe to lengths in the field at a tolerance of 0.6". It also allows up to 5° joint deflection during assembly. After assembly, the joint is fully restrained and sealed.
The patented Mega-Bond® coating system offers excellent corrosion resistance. The Megaflange is made of ductile iron that conforms to ASTM A536 and has flange bolt circles that are compatible with ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10. (125#/Class 150 Bolt Pattern).
Note: Not for use on plain-end fittings.
