In areas where buried electric cables may exist, our insulated probe provides both protection from accidental contact with high voltage underground power lines and superior alloy steel strength for the toughest soil conditions. No other probe offers this combination of safety and strength!
The 1" x 11" solid steel handle is covered with durable vinyl that softens impact. High-strength reinforced composite material insulation between the handle and probe rod is molded to the handle and tested up to 45,000V. The 3/8" diameter, high alloy steel probe rod features a replaceable tip.
For extra probe rod impact for penetrating tough soil, order an optional slide handle adapter.
