Description
- Cast-iron bodies with stainless steel internals
Sewage air/vacuum valves automatically exhaust large quantities of air and gases while the pipeline or system is being filled, and allow air to re-enter during draining or when a negative pressure exists.
Valves have ASTM-rated cast-iron bodies with float-operated 316 stainless steel internals that close droptight against renewable rubber seats.
For back flushing with clear water, choose this model with flushing attachment which includes bronze shut-off and flushing valves, a quick-connect coupling and 5-ft rubber hose.
Note: Air/vacuum valves do not release air on an ongoing basis while systems are operating under pressurized conditions. For this, you need a straight sewage air release valve.
