- For fast hookup of backflow preventer test kits
Use these fittings on backflow prevention assemblies to make connecting a backflow preventer test kit quicker and easier. If you test multiple backflow preventers on a regular basis, the total amount of time and money you save could be significant. No wrenches or Teflon® tape required. Simply install the special threaded fittings by hand into the backflow preventer test cocks, and hand tighten. Fittings have knurled surfaces for positive gripping and integral O-ring seals that provide positive sealing between the fitting and the test cock surfaces.
Set includes all fittings needed to test any size backflow device: (3) 1/4" NPT x 1/4" J513 (45°) flare fittings for 1/4 to 2" valves; (3) 1/2" NPT x 1/4" NPT(F) fittings for 2-1/2 to 4" valves; (3) 3/4" NPT x 1/4" NPT(F) fittings for 6 to 10" valves; (3) spare O-rings for each size and (1) carrying case.
