Flomatic ball check valves have only one moving part—the ball—which moves automatically out of the path of flow and provides an unobstructed, smooth flow through the valve body. When flow stops, the ball rolls back to the closed position, providing a positive seal against backflow.
The 508 series also has an epoxy-coated cast-iron body, and includes a corrosion-resistant phenolic ball and nitrile seals for chemical applications. Valve includes a weighted sinking ball that operates by gravity, even in viscous solutions. Floating balls are available for special applications.
