Description

Product Details
  • 1", 1.25" and 1.5" systems available
  • Select the unit size and media pack that best suits your application
  • Automatic backwashing at user-specified time intervals

USABlueBook filtration systems provide the high level of quality and dependability needed in municipal treatment plants. The user-friendly, 12-volt electronics panel initiates automatic backwashing at specified time intervals. Systems offer full-flow bypass during backwash. Control valves have lead-free internal components, and the media tanks are made from corrosion-proof materials.

For a complete system, order the filtration unit and the media pack best suited to your application. Filtration units are available in three sizes for up to 1.5" piping. All operate at water temperatures of 40 to 100°F and incoming water pressures of 35 to 100 psi. Units for 2" and larger piping, units with auto-water shutoff, and other custom units are available as a special order—contact USABlueBook for details.

Select from three types of media packs

Filter-Ag™ Sediment Filtration Media Packs remove suspended solids down to the 20 to 40 micron level. The media's large particle size creates less pressure drop and allows for deeper sediment penetration and longer filter runs. This media works well over the full pH range.

Activated Carbon Media Packs remove taste, odors and dissolved organic chemicals. They are great for chlorine removal, and operate over a wide range of pH values. To use activated carbon media packs, the water must be free of oil, suspended matter and iron for maximum service life. Lower flow rates are required for chloramines reduction—contact USABlueBook for more information.

Multi-Media Sediment Filtration Media Packs are a unique blend of five medias that remove suspended solids down to the 5 to 10 micron level. Varying media particle sizes allows for longer filter runs and high filter capacities. This media must operate between 6.8 to 9.0 pH at maximum chlorine levels of 0.5 ppm.
