Description

Product Details
  • Inexpensive protection for expensive devices
  • Installs directly to any available conduit opening, like those found on most process transmitters
  • 1/2" NPT thread

This surge protection barrier limits induced transients such as lightning strikes, switching impulses and power surges. It diverts the transient current to ground, and limits the signal line voltage to a safe level for the duration of the surge.

The barrier provides 85 V line-to-line and 500 V line-to-ground clamping voltage. Install it directly to most process transmitters through their extra 1/2" conduit opening. It easily installs on both new units and units already in the field.
