Hach's CA610 analyzer provides continuous monitoring of fluoride concentration in drinking water applications. Unit operates unattended for at least 30 days, making it great for remote locations. It requires minimal maintenance, and produces only small amounts of waste. Flexible design delivers accurate measurements regardless of type of fluoride—fluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6), sodium silicofluoride (Na2SiF6), sodium fluoride (NaF) or others.
The CA610 delivers high-accuracy performance through precise measurement of temperature, pH and ionic strength. Using a reference pH electrode, working ISE and TISAB solution, interference is virtually eliminated. The 30-day TISAB solution lets the electrode respond to concentration rather than activity. It also controls pH to ensure fluoride is present in its ionic state, and breaks up weak complexes formed by metals like aluminum. Solution is consumed every 4.2 minutes of measurement for optimum accuracy.
Units perform automated two-point calibration (0.5 and 5.0 mg/L fluoride) at user-defined time intervals. Calibration standards are fully enclosed within the analyzer housing. Just replace standards about every 60 days. Calibration intervals can be set from 24 hours to one month. Calibration readings and calculations are retained internally for added assurance of peak system performance.
All electrodes feature BNC connectors; easily connect to most laboratory pH meters to verify performance. Electrode life is approx. one year.
Includes: one-month supply of reagents, installation kit, maintenance kit and user manual. Optional power cord (stock # 38060) and adjustable rate flowmeter (stock # 67657) sold separately.
