USABlueBook® Free Chlorine Transmitter, 0 to 5 ppm
Description
These transmitters offer a simple, economical solution for in-line measurement in water disinfection applications. Choose from free chlorine or chlorine dioxide transmitters in a variety of ranges. Use them in new installations or as replacements for other brands.
Transmitters have amperometric-style sensors that measure chlorine electrochemically; they don't require any reagents. They feature automatic temperature compensation, signal conditioning and 10' cables with tinned leads. Transmitters are factory calibrated, but need periodic calibration to a DPD chlorine colorimeter (not included).
These transmitters require a 0.2 to 0.6 gpm bubble-free flow rate across the membrane to operate properly. Order a required flow cell and an optional (but recommended) flowmeter separately. Transmitters also require 12 to 24 VDC power, which can be supplied either by existing loop power or by an optional power supply (order separately).
- Output: 4-20 mA
- Flow Range: 0.2 to 0.6 gpm
- Maximum pressure: 14.7 pis (1 bar)
- pH range: 5.5 to 8
