Description

Based on the National Fire Protection Association's Code No. 704M and Federal Standard 313, these signals provide for the identification of hazardous chemical containers as well as dedicated hazardous material storage areas. For placement on store room walls, chemical buildings and storage tanks. They should also be used to identify potentially hazardous areas for the benefit of both employees and outside emergency response personnel.

The upper three corners of the signal rate health, fire and reactivity hazards on a scale of 0 to 4. Lower corner gives specific hazard information. Use numbers and letters to mark the corners of the signal.

Choose from diamonds made of pressure-sensitive outdoor grade vinyl with permanent adhesive, or rigid plastic for mechanically mounting to walls, fences, etc. The rigid plastic diamond comes with four predrilled mounting holes for fast, easy installation.
