Flowline’s EchoPulse transmitters represent the next generation of non-contact level measurement, offering repeatable high-accuracy results in your most challenging applications. They use FCC-approved microwave RF 26-GHz pulse radar technology, making them a perfect alternative for tough applications where ultrasonic transmitters are challenged. Use them for lift stations, storage tanks, process vessels or other corrosive liquid media applications. Installation, configuration and commissioning are simple with the easy-to-use four-pushbutton keypad.
These transmitters detect liquid level using pulses that travel at the speed of light toward the liquid surface. When pulses reach the surface, a portion of the energy is reflected back to the sensor’s horn. Units then use "time of flight" calculations to determine liquid levels, and produce a proportional 4-20 mA signal. Reduced dead-band (blanking distance) enables liquid media detection as close as 12 inches from the sensor’s horn.
Choose from four models to best suit your application. The LR10, LR15 and LR20 each offer unique ranges and features to handle your facility’s specific applications. Integral LCD module displays your process value through an enclosure housing window. The LR30 is designed for use in harsh applications at ambient temperatures, such as below-grade wastewater lift stations and environmental installations at dams, rivers and retention ponds. The LR30 includes a remote display module in a NEMA 4X housing. Use the module for intermittent field configuration, or leave it connected as a full-time remote-read display.
