Additional features include channel scan, voice activated transmit capability and voice scramble for added privacy and security. Rechargeable Li-ION battery provides up to 12 hours of service. AA alkaline batteries can be used for emergency power. Meets MIL-Specs for high resistance to dust, moisture, shock and vibration. Indoor range up to 250,000 ft2 or 20 floors.
