2-watt heavy-duty radios feature 89 built-in user-selectable UHF frequencies. They have 83 digital and 39 analog Interference Eliminator codes to prevent hearing other nearby users on the same channel.
Additional features include channel scan, voice activated transmit capability and voice scramble for added privacy and security. Rechargeable Li-ION battery provides up to 12 hours of service. AA alkaline batteries can be used for emergency power. Meets MIL-Specs for high resistance to dust, moisture, shock and vibration. Indoor range up to 250,000 ft2 or 20 floors.
Model RMU2080d has an LCD display for feature selection, battery level and easy programming. It also has a channel alias feature that lets you custom name each channel for quick identification.
Includes: Li-ION rechargeable battery, charger, belt clip and audio accessory jack for headsets and speaker-microphones.
