VR series pumps use advanced axial cutters to easily slice through solids and trash without roping or clogging. Automatic units feature wide-angle float switches with piggyback-style plugs for quick installation and easy replacement. Start/run capacitors are built-in, eliminating the need for a control panel.
VR2 pumps for high-head applications are ideal for use in high-pressure sewage systems. Their 2-hp motors provide head levels up to 138 feet. Compared to traditional grinder pumps, they deliver over 300% more flow at 100 feet of head! For added convenience, all VR2 pumps feature a 1-1/4" discharge that's both threaded and oval flanged for standard pipe connection or attachment to existing Myers rail systems.
Construction: cast-iron housing and volute, 440 stainless steel cutting mechanism, stainless steel impeller and single mechanical, carbon/ceramic seals. The impeller is semi-open with back pump-out vanes. The motor is single phase, oil filled. It features capacitor start/run and thermal overload protection. Includes 20' cord with grounded plug.
