These lightweight fabricated wye-pattern strainers remove dirt and other debris from water lines. They are especially well suited for use with flanged backflow preventers.
A simple cover with EPDM seal and coupling permits easy removal of the stainless steel strainer for cleaning and replacement. Covers feature a brass plug that can be removed to install a blow-off valve if desired. The 304 SS strainer body with zinc-plated carbon steel flanges offers lead-free construction that complies with California Prop. 65 and federal lead-free standards.
The strainers have stainless steel covers and screens with 1/8" perforations. Larger sizes through 12" are available; call USABlueBook for more information.
