FLEXFLO A-100N pumps are naturally degassing and self-priming, making them ideal for use with off-gassing chemicals like sodium hypochlorite. True variable-speed DC motors provide consistent chemical feed, minimizing pump maintenance and eliminating the need for mechanical starting/stopping. Heavy-duty NEMA 3R Valox® housing is chemical resistant.
Patented Tube Failure Detection (TFD) system halts pump operation in the event of tube failure. TFD system on pumps for chlorine and general chemicals uses a capacitive sensor to detect leaks. TFD+ system on pumps for polymer uses an optical sensor due to low conductivity.
External control pumps (A-100NV series) can receive 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC and pulsed signal inputs from external devices like flowmeters or chlorine analyzers. Use these signal inputs to automatically adjust pump output.
Use with polymers (call for compatibility with other chemicals). Wetted materials: Flex-A-Thane® (also known as Versilon™ or Tygothane®) pump tube with PVDF adapter fittings, PVC suction tubing, polyethylene (LLDPE) discharge tubing, polypropylene suction strainer, polypropylene injection check valve, ceramic check ball, Hastelloy C-276 spring and PTFE/FKM O-rings.
Includes: two pump tubes, 5' each of PVC suction tubing and LLDPE discharge tubing, mounting kit, suction strainer, ceramic weight and injector. Optional MICRO-FLO flow verification sensors are available for external control pumps—connect to the pump for continuous monitoring of chemical flow.
