Sensorex Submersible or In-Line UV Transmittance Monitor, UVT-LED-SW
Description
- Ensure the water entering your UV system is ready for disinfection
- Save money on energy by optimizing your system
- Use as submersible or in-line UVT monitor
Use these monitors to determine the UVT (UV transmittance) of water coming into your UV disinfection system. UVT is measured as a percentage of UV energy remaining after passing through water. If UVT levels are low, your UV system may not provide adequate disinfection, and changes may be needed to upstream treatment processes. If UVT levels are high, there's a good chance you can save on energy costs by scaling back your UV light levels.
Monitors offer a maintenance-free design—no replacement lamps or disposable cuvettes required. All you need is deionized water for calibration (sold separately, stock # 29554). Submersible (open-channel) and in-line process monitors use a direct 4-20 mA output for continuous monitoring—no need for transmitters or controllers. Installation equipment required.
Includes: a detachable cable assembly (33'L), alcohol cleaning swab and magnetic calibration tool.
