Economical and easy to use, the ViperMag combines a radio transmission locator with a ferro-magnetic locator, all in one compact, lightweight design. The receiver features 512 Hz, 8 kHz and 83 kHz active frequencies, as well as a 60 Hz passive frequency for active power cables. It has a high-contrast responsive display and simple four-button control pad. The transmitter supplies a 1-watt signal.
The ViperMag is suitable for both direct connection and inductive use. Optional signal clamp (sold separately) lets you apply the transmitter's signal to the target line, no matter what the situation.
Includes: receiver, transmitter, direct connection cables, ground rod, soft-sided case, user guide, four D-cell alkaline batteries for transmitter, and two AA alkaline batteries for receiver. 1-year warranty.
