The MSA Altair 4XR multi-gas detector is as tough and functional as it looks. Its rugged housing can survive a 25-ft drop. Rechargeable Li-polymer battery provides 24 hours of run time. Large, glove-friendly buttons and a high contrast display make it easy to operate in any environment.
The Altair 4XR monitors O2, CO, H2S and combustible gas. It features advanced XCell sensor technology for a typical life of more than four years, double the industry standard. They also provide faster response and span calibration times. The end-of-service-life warning gives you advance notice when you need to change sensors.
MotionAlert activates when a user becomes disabled and motionless, quickly alerting others to their location. InstantAlert lets users manually alert others to potentially hazardous situations with a simple button push. This detector can also provide real-time incident awareness to team members when paired with the MSA ALTAIR Connect app via Android Bluetooth® wireless connection. The Altair 4XR datalogs at least 50 hours of information—order the infrared adapter (stock # 71737) to download this information to your PC.
For confined space areas, we recommend adding the optional Altair pump probe and 10-ft sampling line (order separately). This battery-operated handheld unit lets you test confined spaces prior to entry.
Includes: Li-polymer rechargeable battery and charger, calibration cap and tubing, quick-start card and CD manual.
Note: Order pump probe, 10-ft sampling line,calibration gas, regulator, infrared adapter and case separately.
